- As a Buyer, you will develop and implement global external supplier and commodity strategies that will drive long-term improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.
- You will engage and support key stakeholders to enhance the competitive and commercial performance of the client, its customers, and suppliers.
- You will also operate within the supply chain management team/purchasing team across the full product/service life cycle, ensuring supplier commercial issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Support and lead key contract negotiations, including completing cost analyses and negotiations on terms and conditions.
- Managing work queue, including the sourcing of parts/services, raising and management of purchase documents.
- Supplier operations and relationship management within the commodity group.
- Cost reduction/cost management to support the company's cost targets.
- Support and lead the development and execution of commodity strategies.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 years experience in operational, procurement, or logistical.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in government procurement in the aerospace or medical procurement.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in MPV Material Price Variance to adjust actual charges to POs based on increases and decreases of materials.

- Previous procurement for government experience.
- Adept with technical knowledge.
- Purchasing experience in a global environment.

- That action, in many cases, can be delegated to POC Buyers or implemented independently.
