We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Logistics Support Specialist. This position understands, compiles and maintains customer orders and status to expedite movement of materials according to a fast-paced schedule and priorities. Some of the responsibilities of this position include:



  • Read schedules and inventory reports to determine type and quantity required, availability of stock and order priority.
  • Reconcile inventory counts and usage to maintain accurate inventory of all materials.
  • Efficiently and accurately key data into and export data from warehouse management system.
  • Create and format complex data into reports using Excel. Execute advanced complex formulas in Excel.
  • Create and build efficient and timely loads for shipment. Organize and maintain data for accurate tracking and receipt of loads.
  • Research and resolve issues at all stages of supply chain as needed.
  • Proactively interact and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure consistent and efficient work flow.
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Follow Quality Management System guidelines to ensure compliance with U.S. and international food safety and shipping regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
  • Report any food safety, food quality compliance issues to management immediately.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Please note, the schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • High School Diploma required and at least 1 year related experience required.
  • College degree, coursework, or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, Logistics or other related field preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, especially dairy, food, or beverage, preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic and complex math calculations (i.e. add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ERP software for inventory and warehouse management systems such as AS400, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset is imperative.
  • Must have natural leadership ability and be able to to motivate a team to operate accurately and efficiently.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also collaborate and communicate regularly with a team and other departments.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal background checks.
