VP IT, Business Relationship Manager Global Orthopaedics & QRA

Role Overview:

As a key member of the Orthopaedics Business leadership team and IT Leadership Team, the Business VP IT will drive digital solutions that enable the business to grow and operate securely and cost effectively. The VP IT will translate business needs and opportunities into areas to adopt digital capabilities that add high return on investment. The successful VP IT will inspire and create alignment around the best ways to leverage digital technologies in the business. He/She will be entirely accountable for ensuring that IT services and products perform and deliver value as expected and for ensuring that digital solutions are adopted and embraced.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the business IT strategy and investment plan to support business needs

  • Prioritize needs and actions to maximize efficiency while minimizing cost, risk, and business disruption; align IT strategy with Enterprise Architecture

  • Ensure IT services are provided as expected

  • Act as single IT point of contact for all major escalations related to the business and ensure appropriate IT response and support

  • Inspire and educate business stakeholders to understand how emerging digital capabilities can be explored and embraced

  • Ensure solutions are fully adopted and deliver expected value

  • Drive consistency in processes, data, and governance

  • Liaise across the ITLT to support and adopt standards

Location: USA - Remote

Education: BS Licenses/ Certifications:

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of demonstrated experience leading IT teams in complex and global organizations, ideally in the Healthcare sector.

Competences:

  • Strong influence and leadership skills;

  • Ability to drive a culture of accountability and performance management.

  • Excellent financial acumen.

  • Strong bias towards continuous improvement.

  • Keen interest in technology evolution and how enterprise solutions evolve in capability, functionality, and complexity, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Physical Demands: Able to work across time zones effectively with rest of IT Leadership Team (ITLT) based in US, UK, Poland, and India

Travel Requirements: 25-50%
