Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our AP300/AP1000 project engineering group. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projects.
  • Support the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reports.
  • Interact with various engineering groups and departments to ensure timely delivery of engineering commitments.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutions.
  • Assist in the development of licensing strategies and support the fulfillment of licensing requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Help prepare presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:




  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in the nuclear power industry and willingness to learn about nuclear systems and technologies.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous internship or project experience in engineering.
  • Familiarity with nuclear power plant design and operations.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles.
