Senior Contracts Officer Location:Remote Job ID: #70559 Pay Range: $55-65 (this is a contract role) The deadline to apply is 03/14/2025 (subject to change) We are recruiting an exciting role of Senior Contracts Officer to join our dynamic Contracts team. The ideal candidate will be a high potential individual that will provide day-to-day advice, expertise, support and guidance to colleagues across the Actuation Systems sites in respect of contractual matters, taking a solution focused approach to business problems and providing a risk-based analysis of options available. Responsibilities: Responsible for the data gathering, interpretation of varied contacting types and provide report outs to senior management Work within the contracts function to provide support on complex M&A matters, including contract reviews, completion of data collection templates, and preparation of related correspondence Conduct contracts risk and opportunity analysis and prepare Assist, lead and support the business in decision making including, but not limited to, escalating subjects to senior management when required for resolution. Drive results and closure of actions by applying critical thinking, gathering detailed information and collaborating with relevant stakeholders Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to corporate Collins processes, policies, and approval of contracts, leading the approvals required for the Legal, Contracts & Compliance function. Where disputes over contract terms arise, provide expert advice and support to the team in terms of interpretation of contractual requirements. Work with internal and external legal counsel on specific projects as and when they arise across the sites to ensure the business risk position is minimized to the maximum extent possible. Provide the business with clear and coherent advice to mitigate its corresponding contractual risks. Work with various business teams throughout the organization. Work with the Supply Chain Contracts teams across the sites to align on contract symmetry where possible. Qualifications: US Citizen and US Person candidates permitted ONLY Participation in a background check and drug screening isrequired directly after andoffer is made. 3-years professional experience in a Supplier/Customer facing contracts role Contract experience in aerospace or other manufacturing industry Contract experience with mergers and acquisitions activities Knowledge of US Government contracting Excellent interpersonal skills, high level of due diligence Must be proficient in MS office suite primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook. Overall, highly skilled with all applications.
