Position Title: Bindery Assistant
Wage: $17.00 - $18.00/Hour Shift/Hours: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday-Friday 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sunday-Thursday Join a dynamic team in Random Lake, WI, where you'll play a key role in production by packing, labeling, and finishing products in the bindery area. This position requires a strong attention to detail as you load materials, inspect product quality, and operate various bindery equipment. Reliably transport yourself to work, as dependable transportation is a must. You'll assist in cutting, folding, and binding, while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Bindery Assistant Responsibilities: - Load machine pockets and verify materials - Pack printed materials in boxes and skids - Inspect product quality and report defects - Perform hand collating and manual tasks - Assist with cutting, folding, stitching, and binding - Operate equipment like shrink wrappers and drills - Maintain production records and a clean workspace - Follow safety procedures and meet production goals - Ensure a safe work environment and regular attendance Requirements for Bindery Assistant: - Ability to stand for 8-10 hours - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment - Ability to work independently and with others - Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
