Requisition ID req32531 Working Title Programmer Analyst 3 Position Grade 14 Position Summary **The final salary for this position is dependent upon total education and experience** The Earth Data Analysis Center (EDAC) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) has a full-time Programmer Analyst 3 Position opening on the Albuquerque Main Campus. EDAC was established at UNM in 1965 to transfer NASA spaced-based technology to the private and public sectors. As a center of expertise in geospatial technology and information technology, EDAC's mission is to serve federal, state, local, and tribal government agencies, research institutes, professional societies and organizations, and the private sector by leveraging geospatial technologies and information technologies to address their needs and challenges. EDAC's Geospatial Program works across diverse systems, utilizing GIS, drones, remote sensing, image processing, web applications/services, and related programming to serve a wide range of clients. This work involves geospatial data acquisition, processing, mapping, analysis, and programming. EDAC primarily uses ESRI products in the development of specific client driven solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
