The Opportunity: The Fire Safety Specialist II provides leadership and technical support to the Fire Safety Team by promoting and advancing fire and life safety on campus. The specialist is responsible for coordinating, assisting with, and conducting inspections, supporting and coordinating state fire marshal related activities, conducting event safety assessments (i.e. SAFE Forms), researching the Florida Fire Code to ensure compliance to include recommendations for corrective action as needed, and responding to fire alarm emergencies. This position also serves as the fire safety liaison for UCF with outside entities for related activities, permits, and safety training. Responsibilities:
