How you will make an impact:

The Director of Performance Improvement directs the process of establishing a comprehensive and integrated performance improvement program which meets regulatory standards for both the hospital and the PHP/IOP components. They emphasize an organization wide approach that continually meets and /or exceeds licensing and accreditation standards and delivers quality care. They provide strategic development and direction of the performance improvement program for the hospital and educate performance improvement methodology and the application to patient care, consults on licensing and accreditation matters. They champion quality improvement initiatives, quality and patient safety awareness, safety culture survey administration, and patient satisfaction.

We are seeking a Director of Performance Improvement candidate with a background in healthcare and Joint Commission compliance to join our team.

New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in nursing, social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required; if hold current RN License, minimum Bachelor's degree required.
  • RN, LMSW licensure a plus; Quality Professional certification preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience directing performance improvement and risk management activities in a hospital, psychiatric hospital, or mental health treatment setting required.
  • Knowledgeable regarding Joint Commission accreditation standards.
  • Experience interpreting State and Federal standards related to hospital operations.
