Responsibilities
Job Summary - This position is responsible for the assistance in completion of month end, cost reports, budgets, ad hoc reporting and analysis, governmental and other miscellaneous reports. This position will interact with facility CEO and CFO; Senior Leadership, facility Business Office Manager, corporate personnel and government agencies to ensure completion of month-end closing as well as balance sheet account reconciliations. This position can supervise a small team which supports the facility. This position will evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with overall goals of the organization. This position will assist the CFO in the review of month end close and help reconcile problem accounts.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities |

1. |
Manages the month-end and quarterly processes for assigned hospital. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all required reports and accounting data to meet applicable financial deadlines. |

Provides coaching to the business office. Assists with work, setting goals and tracks progress for the finance team. |

Prepares and analyzes key figures, proforma, cost and ad hoc reports. Assists facility in development and maintenance of the APC/DOI reports and completion of state and federal reports. Evaluates the risks and opportunities and proactively communicates them to the assigned facilities. |

Collaborate with facility in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Assist CFO in the preparation and review of the annual budget for all assigned facilities. |
