Sr. Software Engineer We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in C# SQL Azure and .Net Framework. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA (Hybrid) You must be legally authorized to work in USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain software applications using C# SQL Azure and .Net Framework. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. * Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. * Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. * Help maintain code quality organization and automation. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. * Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. * Implement best practices for software development and ensure compliance with industry standards. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of the software development process. * Contribute to the design and architecture of new software solutions. * Ensure the security and scalability of software applications. * Document software designs code and other technical artifacts. Qualifications: * Between 6 to 8 years of experience. * Possess a strong understanding of C# SQL Azure and .Net Framework. * Have experience in developing and maintaining software applications. * Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Show proficiency in identifying and resolving software issues. * Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Have experience with code reviews and providing feedback. * Understand industry standards and best practices for software development. * Possess excellent communication skills. * Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies. * Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers. * Show experience in documenting technical artifacts. * Have knowledge of Industry Essentials (nice to have). * Be comfortable working in a hybrid model with a day shift. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 3/20//2025. The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
