Operations Clerk - 1st Shift

You will be based in Lancaster, TX

Your main tasks:

• Unloading, verifying, and receiving incoming materials
• Stock material to appropriate warehouse location
• Pull material (picks) for assembly line changeovers
• Determine changeover material shortages and communicate to appropriate personnel
• Order production wool, communicate and coordinate delivery trailers for wool product
• Equipment operation includes stand-up motor, cherry picker, gas and propane fork truck, swing reach, electric and standard pallet jack

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 3-5 years' experience of Shipping / Receiving Office Clerk responsibilities
• Experience working with a variety of WMS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP, Warehouse management systems, SAP, etc.
• Flexibility to work standard shifts as well as extended business hours depending on customer needs

Physical Demands:

• Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
• Lift up to 50+ pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
• Having a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
