The UCPath Center is the University of California's shared services center in Riverside, CA. The UCPath Center manages the payroll, benefits, and other human resources transactions for more than 200,000 UC employees working across ten UC campuses, six medical centers, three national labs and more. The staff at the UCPath Center work in a variety of areas including business operations, customer service, quality management, technology, training, human resources and communications. Position Summary
The Stakeholder Management Intern will work closely with our Stakeholder Engagement Managers, internal teams, and possibly external UC partners, helping to shape and execute strategies to support the team in building efficient business processes by defining and identifying methods, tools, and strategies to help track issues and shape the stakeholder engagement model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of a business playbook to be utilized across all UC system check-in meetings between campus/medical center leadership and UCPath leadership teams
  • Identify account management tools to help track stakeholder engagement touch points
  • Develop marketing materials, including presentations, to highlight the Stakeholder Management team
  • Update standard operating procedures, develop playbook for Visits and a process inventory.

  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to write clear and concise emails
  • Ability to communicate technical information to personnel at various levels in the organization
  • Demonstrate interest in learning in an enterprise environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as priorities evolve
  • Project management knowledge and marketing skills

Education
Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled University of California student
  • Bachelor's degree or undergraduate degree in progress with expected graduation in Spring or Summer 2025

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management, Business, or a related field

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range shows the growth potential for this position and the pay scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Internships available for currently enrolled University of California students only. Non-UC students will not be considered.

Visa sponsorship not available.

This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at the UCPath Center in Riverside and remote in California.
