THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Office of the Governor's Office of Digital Strategy is a first-of-its-kind office in Pennsylvania, charged with leading the Governor's online communications and Pennsylvanians' experiences online. As a digital intern, you will gain experience in all areas of digital strategy, from social content and design to digital services. We want your ideas, concepts, and solutions that give you a chance to develop expertise within our internal departments that will set you up for success in your digital career!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Internship, 37.5 hours per week, May 2025 through August 2025
  • Work hours are flexible from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch period.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Internship Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Graduate from Spring of 2025 may also be considered for this program.
  • Good academic standing (2.5 GPA or higher).
  • Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be studying or have graduated with a degree in communications, advertising and marketing, electronic and digital media communication, or a similar major or degree program.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
