Responsibilities
- Resolve fundamental/mid-level technical questions across a broad technology range, leverage AI tools to increase first contact resolution.
- Deliver technical and application support for Keysight's families of data acquisition (DAQ) systems, function generators, digital multimeters (DMM), DC/AC power supplies, electronic loads, frequency counters, source measurement units (SMU), oscilloscopes, application/test automation software, and software licensing
- Ensure customer interactions are handled with a highly satisfying level of customer service.
- Work with a team of engineers to ensure new support requests are worked in a timely manner.
- Use a case management system to track your customer interactions, document each case resolution, and ensure customer commitments are satisfied.
- Publish knowledge articles and FAQs on the Keysight Support Portal that enable customers to locate answers to their test and measurement challenges when they need them.
- Develop and maintain your technical expertise as new products are made available to Keysight customers.
- Create pre-sales leads and opportunities, translating customer technical needs into specific Keysight product offerings.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree, or combination of equivalent formal training/certification/experience at the discretion of the hiring manager.
- 2-5+ years of applicable experience as an application engineer, design validation engineer, or test engineer.
- Experience in use of electronic test and measurement instruments and test automation software.
- Military PMEL/TMDE (metrology) experience a plus; experience with/supporting defense/military customers a plus.
- This is a customer facing position that requires strong/fluent English language skills. Prior soft-skills experience is a plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain/discuss technical subjects via written and oral interactions.
- Self-motivated to investigate and learn Keysight products and potential customer applications/use cases.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers; experience in technical sales and/or customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in assisting multiple customers throughout the day, adjusting to priorities/needs.
- Ability to interface with technical and non-technical teams to achieve seamless and expedited customer experience.
- Programming skills that may include .NET, C#, C++, VB, Python are a plus.
- Assist in on-boarding and qualification training of new hire and junior Application Engineers.
- This is a US position due to customer profile and interaction requirements.
- While not required, Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese communication skills may be beneficial
