Intelligence Database Developer & Support Analyst

Salary Range: $69,640 - $99,000

Directly support Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division customers by describing the parametric/operational capabilities, quantities, and geographical locations of the most current, viable threat systems available/in-use throughout the world today.

Essential Job Functions:

Analyze the needs of internal department and customer requirements with development of Microsoft (MS) Access Databases, including but not limited to, tables, queries, forms, and reports.

Develop MS Access/Excel VBA programs to perform tasks automatically.

Analyze complex data to develop automated reporting.

Create/edit new and/or existing macros to work with a large amount of data.

Review code to ensure best practices are in place and ability to following unit naming conventions.

Update, repair, optimize and maintain existing code using SQL.

Identify threats, validate threat via numerous sanctioned Intelligence sources, and describe the threat in the Intelligence Database and/or other written format.

Provide support and population of threat data parameters ensuring data input accuracy for threat system parameters, weapons, systems, and operational modes.

Track changes made to Intelligence Database for inclusion in Monthly Delivery Report to customer.

Support customer meetings/presentations as required by customer.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with the military. Will also consider High school with 13+ years of relevant experience.

A current DOD security clearance is required. Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferred.

Follow all policies and procedures governing the secure operation and authorized use of DOD information systems.

Knowledge of Federal, DOD, and U.S. Navy Guidance.

Excellent oral/written communication skills; detail-oriented a must.

Experience Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point.

Experience in Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB), EW/ELINT and other Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data sources.

Strong understanding in design of MS Access database tools, relational databases for medium sized applications.

Skilled in creating complex queries, forms and outputs using MS Access.

Knowledgeable in working with large databases and designing security/access.

Database task automation using VBA and macros.

Intelligence data analysis.

Desired Skills:

Experience within the Intelligence community preferred.
