Position Announcement

Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, invites applications for a full-time Title III Grant Program Coordinator. The program coordinator will perform a variety of oversight, supervision, operational management, and reporting duties requiring knowledge in grant administration and federal regulations. This highly visible position operates in a busy environment and involves actively monitoring multiple grant initiatives. This is a five-year grant-funded position with funding through September 30, 2028. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, supervise, and assess the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program of the Affordable and Accessible Pathways Title III grant.
  • Ensure that the SI program operates in compliance with all terms and conditions of the grant and all federal regulations.
  • Coordinate and monitor goals for SI activities related to the Title III grant, and assist with the preparation of reports for the Title III grant, as needed.
  • Collect and maintain grant Time and Effort reports.
  • Maintain and update the Title III Policy and Procedures Manual that embodies the requirements of program statutes, regulations, and policy statements.
  • Pursue UMKC supplemental instruction program certification and maintain program accreditation standards.
  • Hire SI leaders and coordinate with academic departments for successful implementation and ongoing management of supplemental instruction. Participate in weekly Title III grant staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Some administrative experience in higher education required.
  • Experience in grant development and administration preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with a wide range of constituents and manage simultaneous projects.

Supplemental Information

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time, overtime-exempt) position. Annual salary of $61,200, contingent upon grant funding. This is a five-year grant-funded position with an end date of September 30, 2028. Desired start date of July 1, 2025.
