Medica Services Company LLC has an opening for a Senior IT Engineer position based out of its facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This position provides a telecommuting benefit allowing the employee to reside in any of the following states where Medica is registered to do business: AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, NV, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, and WI. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design. Design, develop, and modify software solutions. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Develop specifications and performance requirements. Create and execute unit and performances cases that correspond to the needs of the validated requirements and the constraints of the design documents. Develop and enhance systems and provide systems support. Manage the upgraded efforts of select technical and business applications. Develop tools and systems, including APIs, web portals, databases, and virtual servers hosted on a cloud environment that will help deliver high quality software quickly. Develop automated systems in a manner which conforms to Medica's development standards. Develop automated tests to validated requirements and the constraints of code deployment and design. Conduct unit testing in line with the CI/CD standards. Perform engineering tasks across the full SDLC. Collaborate with other engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure that the technology's platform and standards are met.

Requires Master's degree or equivalent foreign degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related engineering field. Position requires at least three years of experience in applications development. At least two years of experience must be in (1) utilizing CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and/or SVN); (2) utilizing ETL methodology (Informatica Power Center and/or Microsoft SQL Server); (3) creating Technical Design documents; (4) working in a cross-functional team with engineers, IT teams, and business teams. Must reside in any of the following states where Medica is registered to do business: AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, NV, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, and WI.

The wage range is $112,320.00/year to $149,300. Medica offers standard benefits offered to full-time employees (which include medical, life insurance, 401(k), disability, paid sick leave, paid national holidays, and paid vacation).
