We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside. Your new team This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe. The scope of Operations stretches from Procurement through conversion (distillation and maturation) and manufacturing (or bottling) to all the downstream Supply Chain activities until the final product is delivered. In addition, Operations play a very active role in Innovation, Talent Development and Operational Risk Management. The position sits within the Malt Distillery team who are responsible for all production operations at our malt distilleries across Speyside and Orkney. Your unique contribution As part of this 2-year apprenticeship, you will get the chance to learn the whisky making process at a few of our distilleries and warehousing operations. As a Spirit Operations Apprentice you will learn how to: Comply with industry health, safety and environmental working practices and regulations. Work both individually and as part of a team. Control production processes to ensure product quality and efficacy. Control equipment and processes to ensure staff are safe as they work. At the end of the programme you will receive:
Training will comprise of on-the-job training and further education at a local college. Who you'll be working with Internally, you'll collaborate with other members of the Malt Distilling Team, Distillery Operations Technician's, On-Site Engineer's, Site Management, Technical Centre team, Blending Team.
