Job Summary

Provides transactional and advisory support to Human Resources (HR) and team members. Plays a key role in streamlining HR operations, addressing inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of HR tasks such as employee data management, benefits administration, and payroll. Serves as the primary point of contact for HR-related assistance ensuring consistent, seamless, and positive experiences for employees and HR teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates transactional support for HR functions, including benefits, trainings, Human Capital Management (HCM) transactions, compliance, onboarding, and other HR process and programs.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to HR users, offering guidance on HR processes and transactions while ensuring adherence to HR standards and regulations.
  • Acts as a point of contact for team members submitting HR-related inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses, troubleshooting issues, and escalating cases to subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to ensure resolution.
  • Enables uniform HR operations by ensuring all HR transactions and services are completed in a consistent and standardize manner across all company locations.
  • Maintains and updates employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring that all employee data is accurate, current, and complies with legal and company requirements.
  • Generates reports on key HR metrics, identifies trends, and provides insights to improve HR service delivery. Assists HR teams with data review to support strategic decisions.
  • Identifies areas for process improvement within HR transactions and shared services, collaborating with HR teams to implement streamlined solutions that enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitors HR transactions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal Company policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains detailed documentation of HR processes, ensuring clear communication and training materials for HR teams and employees on how to use HR systems and services effectively.

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

  • Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Will consider a combination of 1+ year of experience with a relevant Associate's or Bachelor's degree (i.e., HR, Business, IT, etc.)

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices
  • Solid written/verbal communication, customer service, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Firm time-management, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills with the ability to deliver on multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, effective internal customer/business partner relationships
  • Skilled at reporting, data review, identifying trends, and troubleshooting routine issues
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including configuration, customization, and reporting tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and various Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g., UKG, SAP, Workday, Cornerstone, Phenom, PlanSource, etc.)
  • Ability to identify opportunities for optimization

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
  • The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
