A Systems Engineer job is available with our client in McLeansville, NC. In this role you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing a test program to very system and subsystem requirements. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

***Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time***

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Design and Qualification of electrical systems.
*Design and Qualification of optical systems.
*Electrical/Optical system design including requirement allocation and decomposition.
*Requirements Lifecycle Management.
*New product development and transition to manufacturing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor"s Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field plus a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
*Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
*Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
*Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
*Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
*Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
