Responsibilities

This is your opportunity to join a team that's bringing new products and technologies to the market faster and more efficiently than ever before! As a member of our New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering Team you will collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, and engineering teams in Santa Rosa and world-wide to design, develop, and test our Network Analysis products.

Our NPI team is multi-disciplinary, involving electrical, software, and mechanical engineers who have responsibility for the product design as it is released into production and beyond. You will design and implement Keysight's state of the art measurement and calibration procedures and perform analyses to set specifications for all new products during development.

We are looking for a self-motivated engineer who thrives in a fast-paced development environment. Your job will include developing test algorithms and working with a variety of digital, analog, and RF circuitry depending on project needs. You will apply your Electrical Engineering skills to a variety of focused hands-on projects and become a measurement expert yourself!

This engineering position is located at Keysight's corporate headquarters in Santa Rosa, CA, in the heart of California's beautiful wine country. There are a variety of responsibilities you may be assigned, including:

  • Collaborate with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features
  • Characterize and validate product performance from breadboard builds to production release
  • Develop the manufacturing process and the tests required to verify instrument performance
  • Design and implement calibration algorithms
  • Manage instrument hardware and the measurement, characterization, and calibration processes used during the NPI development phase and in production
  • Design and/or modify test stations, analyze test data and set product specifications
  • Create technical documentation
  • Manage and guide the transition of products and manufacturing processes into production and through the entire life cycle of the product

Qualifications

This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. Under these laws and regulations, U.S. persons (which include U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) working for Keysight can access export-controlled items without authorization from the U.S. government. For any individual who is not a U.S. person, Keysight may need authorization from the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, or other appropriate federal agency before the individual can access export-controlled items.

Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on Keysight's ability to obtain any required government authorizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS, MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in analog and digital circuit analysis
  • Desire to collaborate with cross functional teams world-wide to create innovative solutions
  • Good organizational skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Self-motivated and able to take direction on high-level objectives and create/execute project plans

Santa Rosa, California pay range: MIN $134,950 MIDPOINT $179,930 - MAX $224,920

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
