About the role:

The Senior Manager, Cardiology Sales Operations will manage a high impact team responsible for driving commercial strategies through data driven insights and actionable analytics. This collaborative role partners across the commercial organization to maximize effectiveness of the field sales organization through strategic analytic that inform long-term strategy development.In addition to the forward-looking strategies, the team is also partnering closely with business leaders to optimize strategies and decision-making for field sales across various functions at Boston Scientific.

Your responsibilities will include:




  • Lead, mentor and develop a high performing Cardiology Sales Operations team to meet organizational goals.





  • Guide innovative and best in class report building capabilities, easy to use user interfaces, and easy to interpret visualization methodologies.





  • Effectively collaborate with other sales operations functions and cross functional partners to elevate and execute on commercial strategies.





  • Influence acceptance of key commercial strategies through use of data driven storytelling.





  • Build and maintain advanced analytics processes, predictive models, and performance metrics. Ensure that data-driven recommendations are integrated into business strategies.





  • Stay ahead of emerging industry trends in analytics and apply best-in-class tools and methodologies to improve the team's capabilities and business impact.





  • Define, delegate, and manage strategic projects to improve business performance.





  • Develop a strong network to understand the changing landscape of the Cardiology market in order to lead strategy 12-24 months in the future.





  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.





  • Provide leadership on day-to-day tasks for team members.





  • Provide field sales management with reporting and mechanisms relative to field sales personnel performance.





  • Optimize existing processes through appropriate use of technology.





  • Implement new processes as they become relevant for the selling organization.





What we're looking for in you:




  • Bachelor's degree





  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading a team with common vision, capabilities, process, technology, and tasks.





  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement, value improvement, and strategic solutions.





  • Experience leading cross functional teams and projects.





  • Strong business acumen and experience interacting with various level of management.





  • Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies.





  • Ability to travel 20%





Preferred Qualifications




  • MBA degree





  • Experience in medical device industry





  • Experience in sales operations, IT, finance, marketing or strategy





  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Tableau

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
