More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Transportation Planner/Scheduler onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Plan and release work orders to the warehouse.

  • Schedule pick-ups and create bill of lading.

  • Plan and schedule international shipments.

  • Interface with customer service to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Meet required deliverables while promoting a safe and secure work environment.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

  • 2+ years of planning and/or scheduling experience, or related work experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, etc.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) with solid Excel skills

  • SAP or ERP experience required

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills

Salary:$28.65 to $38.17 per hour
