Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ABOUT THE JOB



  • In Columbia, our plant is separated into two areas: textiles and mill. In those areas, we specialize in the careful and precise manufacturing of the rubber and string used in Gates belts.
  • Our process begins with raw materials that are handled, mixed, heated, and cooled for mill production, and carefully unwound, coated, and rewound for textiles.
  • As a Production Operator, your day will focus on working collaboratively with a team, lifting, measuring, mixing, and gently monitoring machinery and gauges.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

ABOUT YOU



  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
