The Christman Company is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our corporate headquarters in Lansing, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic college student to gain hands-on experience in HR while contributing to a dynamic organization with operations across the nation.

As part of our HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Workday, assisting with system updates, functionality testing, and preparing training materials for the company-wide launch in July. This internship will also provide exposure to HR management practices, the use of HR technology, and strategic projects that drive business success. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with team members, anticipate challenges, and contribute to key initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.

What You Will Do:

As a HR Intern, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:



  • Assist with Workday system implementation and functionality enhancements.
  • Support system testing to ensure a smooth launch.
  • Prepare training materials for managers and employee-users.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to troubleshoot and optimize processes.


What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:



  • Sophomore or Junior level college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, organizational/industrial psychology
  • Participation and/or leadership in HR or other related organizations.
  • Previous internship experience in human resources or business preferred.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in HR technology and process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
