Description

The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate loan growth while preserving credit quality in the commercial loan portfolio. The function involves complex data acquisition and analysis resulting in executive level management reports and loan presentations. Incumbent participates with lending officers on customer calls, attends bank group meetings and assists in the development of junior credit and lending officers.

Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in commercial bank underwriting or lending.
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial/industrial loan underwriting.
  • Working knowledge of investor real estate underwriting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Moody's (or comparable) spreading software.
  • High level of initiative and accountability.
  • Results-driven, team-oriented and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
