Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? This is a Project Management/Scrum master position within a group that manages technology projects for the RBC Wealth Management line of business and for the operations teams that support that line of business. What will do you do? * Leads, directs and oversees activities on planning, delivery and implementation to ensure the project's strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved timeframes, scope and budget. * Leads team & liaises with RBC business and service partners, including external third party vendors. * Manages project within the standard RBC Project Delivery Organization management and reporting structure. * Builds strong relationship with Sponsor, Business/Technology Owners and Technology & Operations Partners. * Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationship within project team. * Collaborates with colleagues across the organization to get things done. * Manages project level communications including status reports to all stakeholders. * Provides senior management with timely updates on operational project risks and issues. * Conducts project(s) in accordance with RBC Financial Group's standard project management discipline, consistently following RBC's Program/Project Management Framework. * Translates the project vision into project high level scope, design, and executables. * Ensures risk assessments are completed and that contingency plans are identified and executed. * Seeks input and prepares project plan and/or implementation plans aligned with executive approval. * Ensures alignment with enterprise-wide Business & IT Architecture. * Promotes innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices. * Facilitates strong project governance and execution assurance processes * Establishes a process for the identification of project issues. Resolves complex project issues and escalates to executive/steering committee and manages resolution as required. * Responsible for the development of project metrics. * Oversees the production of management documents. * Operationalizes governance & oversight of overall project. * Anticipates and quantifies tactical, operational, and strategic risks applying risk-based approach to forecasting. * Manages project financials. * Integrates project plans at project level creating estimating models as required, refines plan and manages performance against it. * Facilitates schedule and cost forecasting and aligns project risk-based provisions. * Manages project scope using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions. * Oversees the completion of post project reviews and closure in conjunction with project teams. The Good-Faith Expected Salary Range For The Above Position Is $65-115K Depending On Factors Including But Not Limited To The Candidate's Experience, Skills, Registration Status; Market Conditions; And Business Needs.This Salary Range Does Not Include Other Elements Of Total Compensation, Including A Discretionary Bonus And Benefits Such As A 401(K) Program With Company-Matching Contributions; Health, Dental, Vision, Life And Disability Insurance; And Paid Time-Off Plan.
