JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Centerstone's Donor Services Specialist provides donor stewardship management and support of Centerstone's Foundation. The Specialist will be responsible for processing donor gifts and acknowledgments, including receipting and processing acknowledgment letters, compiling data reports, event gift and RSVP tracking, donor data updates, and monthly reconciliation with Finance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day donor services including ensuring excellent donor database integrity, accurate mailing lists, dynamic donor profiles and other documents and records in support of the Foundation's function.
- Receives, processes, and acknowledges gifts received, including event receipts
- Monitors Foundation email/lockbox for donations daily; provides processing form to finance within 24 hours
- Processes gifts, pledges and donation acknowledgements with accuracy; completes donation acknowledgement/tax receipt process for all gifts within 72 hours of gift receipt
- Prepares annual donation summary for donors meeting the IRS threshold in January of each year
- Processes honor and memorial gift notifications within 72 hours of gift receipt
- Processes event data entry, i.e. registrations, donations, etc., according to event plan timing
- Processes donor database updates weekly, including, but not limited to:
- Invalid or corrected addresses
- Donor demographic information
- Communication Opt-Outs
- Society memberships
- Employee and Board status
- Review, research, and correct potential duplicates in the system
- Donor profile research and development; assists as directed
- Special mass mail processing (as identified), including list segmentation, generation, mail merge, printing, folding, stamping, etc.
- Assist Donor Services team with select projects, as identified
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to use technology/software solutions, including Salesforce (CRM) and donor research platforms (DonorSearch); proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel in particular; PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe preferred)
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and be in control of numerous tasks at any one time; comfortable with daily routine-based database tasks
- Enthusiastic, action-oriented approach with strong work ethic, demonstrating initiative, creativity and follow-through; high level of energy, enthusiasm, and humor
- Fantastic customer service ethic with high expectations for quality; great phone presence (will interface with donors and represent the organization)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, writing, and interpersonal); friendly, professional manner
- Ability to work onsite or remotely with regular/reliable attendance, functioning both individually and as a multi-state, multi-time-zone team member with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner, as required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a flexible and adaptable style; availability for extended hours as needed (system works in multiple time zones; occasionally provide support during events that may occur outside normal business hours)

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Level
- Bachelor's degree required or related experience
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in nonprofit fundraising team; database experience preferred
- Experience with fundraising CRM platforms

Pay Range: $46,000.00--$64,470.00
