Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Agilist with 13 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Project Time Management, Project Stakeholder Management, Project Risk Management, Project Quality Management, Project Scope Management, Springboot Microservices, Java 11, Core Java, and Agile Methodologies. The role involves working in a hybrid model with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope.
• Oversee stakeholder management to ensure all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide risk management strategies to identify assess and mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensure quality management processes are in place to maintain high standards of project deliverables.
• Manage project scope to ensure all project requirements are met and any changes are properly documented and approved.
• Utilize Springboot Microservices to develop and maintain scalable and efficient applications.
• Implement Java 11 and Core Java best practices to ensure robust and maintainable code.
• Apply Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project efficiency.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Mentor and guide team members in Agile practices to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of project components.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Project Time Management to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Demonstrate expertise in Project Stakeholder Management to maintain effective communication and relationships.
• Have a solid background in Project Risk Management to proactively address potential issues.
• Show proficiency in Project Quality Management to uphold high standards of deliverables.
• Exhibit skills in Project Scope Management to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Be proficient in Springboot Microservices for developing scalable applications.
• Have advanced knowledge of Java 11 and Core Java for robust coding practices.
• Apply Agile Methodologies to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.

Certifications Required

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Project Management Professional (PMP)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 2/28/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
