*A Telecommunication company in Hillsboro, OR is hiring a DC Power Installer (Central Office Installer) to join the team for a great opportunity!*
*Job Duties:* * Operate tools designed for cabling and lugging such as hydraulic crimping tools, cable cutters, heat gun, etc. * Experience with 12, 24, 48, VDC systems a plus * Perform diversified tasks including but not limited to anchoring, leveling, drilling, securing racks and cables, sewing of power cable, fasten copper connecters, DC Bussing, cell installation, copper power termination and installation of floor support * Perform installation and removal of fiber optic cables and copper * Perform fiber raceway, lead verification/community testing, fiber cable pre-termination and termination * Lacing and terminating cable * Operate test equipment using Alber and Midtronics * Analyze job specifications and drawings * Prepare method of procedures (MOP) and job information procedures (JIM) * Resolve job specifications and/or drawing problems *Qualifications:* * Must be proficient with balance of plant support system such as: grounding, DC power, batteries, raceway, superstructure systems. * Must have proven competency in all areas as level 2 or higher installer. Knowledge of installation, wireline, wireless, Central Office and MSC sites to include but not limited to: DC Power, Telemetry, LTE, Alarms, DSO through OC-192 communication systems. * Must be open to working a graveyard shift Sunday - Thursday ***If Interested:* *Please apply to the job application and email Derek at Dmautz @teksystems.com* *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
