Project Support Specialist

The Garver Water Team is looking for a Project Support Specialist in the South Oklahoma City (SOC) officeto serve on our Water Implementation Team within our Water Practice Area Teams. Water Practice Area Teams provide a wide array of support to the Water Business Line. The successful candidate will provide support for the construction phase of projects, serving as a resource for document management and implementation of tailored workflows. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support for projects and help team leaders across the Water Practice Area Teams, as necessary. The successful candidate will also support team members with general delivery and execution of work, including tasks such as review and formatting of technical reports and presentations. This role is on the Water Implementation Team, but the successful candidate will also assist with tasks across the Water Practice Area Teams, including but not limited to:


  • Administrative project support
  • Document and information management
  • Administrative support for Team Leaders


Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Setting up projects for billing and document management
  • Document and process management for bidding services
  • Document and process management for construction phase services
  • Pay application review and tracking
  • Helping team members with expense tracking and professional licensing
  • Compliance tracking for federally-funded projects
  • Proofreading technical documents for spelling/grammatical issues
  • Project workflow and schedule oversite (keeping the ball-in-court process moving)


Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience with project/administrative support
  • Proficiency with MS Office software
  • Basic understanding of contracts and project delivery


Preferred Skills


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of administrative management experience
  • Proficiency with construction management software
