DESCRIPTION OF WORK
-
In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining diet programs for residents and other individuals at the facility. This work involves planning and organizing nutritional care, preparing and modifying dietary plans in accordance with nutrition standards, and ensuring variety and quality in the menu options. You are also responsible for organizing nutritional assessments, discharge summaries, and making recommendations for food purchasing, finance, and quality assurance. This role requires a high level of initiative and the ability to utilize independent judgement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is permanent part-time employment, 37.5 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours can vary, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
