Role:

The Machine Operator I will be motivated, energetic, outgoing, eager, and a positive-minded individual who is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. You will work as a team to safely produce high quality parts for vacuum pumps in a fast pace continuous operation environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Including the following, other duties may be assigned.



  • Efficiently produce accurate parts to the corresponding drawing.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues in the machining process.
  • Accurately inspect parts and record critical tolerances on inspection sheets.
  • Routinely use warehouse equipment (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack).
  • Ability to convey any issues to others in the machine shop if not able to resolve.
  • Package completed parts for inventory.
  • Maintain machines (Coolant, oil, filters, etc.).
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Monitor machines while making adjustments as needed.



Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform

each essential duty satisfactorily.




  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety.
  • Understanding of G and M code.
  • Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings.
  • Excellent Coordination and Mechanical Skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication.
  • Basic Computer Skills.



Education and/or Experience:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
  • Previous machining experience desired.
  • Industry experience preferred



Language Skills:



  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents
  • Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries

Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are those of a manufacturing facility.

Wage: $30.00/hr
