Primary Purpose: The IT Project Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of complex IT projects supporting multiple businesses within the organization. Projects pertain to the delivery of timely, quality IT services and/or relate to improving business effectiveness and efficiency. In this role, you will provide input into the creation of the project budget and manage the project scope and schedule. In addition, you will be responsible for managing appropriate stakeholders and communicating as needed the progress to project plan; and any potential issues negatively impacting the desired outcome. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience: Minimum Seven (7) years' experience in IT Technical support required. 5 Years Project management experience required. PMP certification a plus. Experience with VOIP deployment strongly desired. Knowledge and Abilities: Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving. Ability to manage projects and process improvement initiatives. Experience identifying and resolving issues independently. Demonstrates a solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgement. Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Ability to gain alignment with different clients and represent a common point of view across multiple stakeholders. Courage to take initiative in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances. Very high-level of self-awareness and desire to develop leadership capabilities. Ability to hold themselves and others accountable to high standards. A post offer drug screen will be required.
