Description

Core Responsibilities:





    • Coordinate First Article Inspections with Quality Engineer, Manufacturing and Inspection personnel.
    • Coordinate inspection data and collection of corrective actions for non-conformance submittal to customers.
    • Coordinate Gage R&R Studies in support of new product introduction and current process improvements.
    • Assist Quality Engineers with the establishment and continued analysis of SPC.
    • Coordinate and complete product audits as required by customers.
    • Support Quality Engineers in development of inspection plans, PFMEA's and Control Plans.
    • Support Quality Organization in the development of standardized tools and procedures to improve productivity
    • Learn and adhere to required safety standards and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.





Qualifications:



  • Able to read blueprints.
  • Knowledge of general quality functions including Gage R&R, SPC, and PFMEA and Control Plans.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple functions to ensure project completion on time and with quality results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent leadership and team skills required.
  • Able to effectively interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Good internal / external communication skills are required.



Education Requirements:

  • 2 year technical degree and/or ASQ Certified Technician preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
