PRIMARY PURPOSE CNA is searching for a People Operations Generalist to join our People Operations (POP) Division. The POP Generalist will work directly with the People Operations management team to provide operational excellence in all areas of People Operations with a focus on employee relations, retention, administration of company policies and procedures, databases, recruiting and employment actions. Responsible for day-to-day functions which may include exit interviews, new hire onboarding, coaching, and performance. We are looking for creative and innovative individuals to help carry out our mission. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Support recruiting functions, candidate travel, interview scheduling, recruiting events, relocation and other tasks as required. Serve as back-up recruiter with ability to work with hiring managers on open requisitions for all phases of the recruiting process. 2. Partner with POP Management and appropriate team members to redesign, implement and deliver employee onboarding/orientation/exit programs. Generate reports and feedback for the POP management team. 3. Serve as operation lead on Intranet page, HRIS processes, with an emphasis on continuing innovation. Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance to POP management in the development and support of POP related databases. 4. Provide operational support for various compliance programs to include but not limited to I-9, E-Verify, Labor Law Postings, Document Retention, Policy Manual, and EEO. 5. Regularly review and work with POP management to maintain the POP section of the company policy manual. Draft updates, amendments, and/or revisions where applicable. 6. Participate in the resolution of employee relations issues and disputes, to include investigations, data collection and reporting. Review recommended courses of action with POP Management prior to action. 7. Develop and recommend innovative solutions to continuously improve processes and customer service provided by People Operations. 8. Conduct exit and new hire survey, exit interviews, and manage exit interview database. Prepare reports, as required, and conduct analysis for trends. 9. Partner with POP Management with Tuition, Employee referral bonus, morale events, rewards and recognition, purchase requisition processes, and other policies. 10. Support POP Management with DOL and/or OFCCP audits, as required. 11. Support the Business Units with everyday POP related questions including benefits and compensation matters. 12. Work closely with POP management and other team members in support of meeting People Operations goals. 13. Perform additional duties and projects as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related field. 2. Experience: Must have at least five years of related experience, preferably with progressive people operations responsibilities. Three years of SharePoint administration and oversight with people operations data and reports. 3. Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint), including expertise in setting up and using and analyzing databases and spreadsheets. Must be well organized and detail oriented; have familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS); strong oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and listening skills; and ability to exercise flexibility, sound judgment, use discretion and maintain confidentiality of employee private information. 4. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security Clerance if needed 5. Hybrid Work Eligibility: This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangements at the discretion of the Supervisor. Employees may be required to work at CNA headquarters or other work locations resulting in changes to the scheduled hybrid work arrangements. ***Voluntary (but highly desired) document***
