Position Summary We are seeking a Knowledge Manager to work at Fort Johnson, LA. The Knowledge Manager will function as the Lead for MTC program information tracking and reporting requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to have access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data and may also be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences. This position is contingent upon contract award. What You'll Do
- Perform duties as the Knowledge Management Lead for the facility.
- Ability to use discretion because will have access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data and may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences.
- Responsible for training requests, tracking and approving requests, and following up with customers, as required for all scheduling needs.
- Responsible for content management on the MTC SharePoint portal, social media, and media production capabilities in support of training and exercises; to include audio, video, and print as well as interface with MTC Government Knowledge Management Leads.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, business systems, and user needs.
- Support the Knowledge Management (KM) Strategy and KM SOP development.
- Provide Knowledge Management training as required.
- Assist with the development of new KM processes site collection development, maintenance, updates, and migrations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect the sensitivity of proprietary information, nonpublic information received in confidence of the Federal Government, contractor bid and proposal information, and source selection information IAW statutory or regulatory requirements.
- Minimum travel required
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree in Information Management or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in the Microsoft SharePoint environment, Microsoft Office programs, or similar web-based collaboration software tool(s)
- Five (5) years of experience working in electronic knowledge repository management, intranets/portals, collaborative tools, and social media tools
- Three (3) years of experience designing and implementing web design, collaboration tools, and content management
- Experience designing and implementing web parts and SP dashboards, collaboration tools, content management, tracking calendars, information, and different data types
- Understand SP Workflow and InfoPath products
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint or similar web-based collaboration software tool(s).
- Experience designing and implementing web design, collaboration tools, and content management.
- Meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements at Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT I). (CompTIA A+ or Network+)
- Possess Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Certified certifications: (e.g. Teamwork Administrator Associate, Fundamentals, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Developer Associate, or Power Platform Fundamentals)
- United States Citizen
- Active Secret security clearance
