The Provider Services Supervisor will lead the Enterprise EDI Enrollment Team and supervise staff employees and provide day to day oversight. The Supervisor will manage the performance of staff employees and support to customers and ensure that service levels are achieved and that customer expectations are met or exceeded. The Supervisor will provide training programs designed to educate staff employees. The Supervisor will monitor performance through quality and productivity auditing. To be qualified for this position you:
Have a High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree highly preferred. Have 2-3 years of relevant technical and business experience including at least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience. Have healthcare background, clearinghouse experience highly preferred. Have intermediate experience with Excel. Experience with SQL is a plus. Are familiar with ANSI and can read and translate ANSI details. Have the ability and experience to handle escalations. Have strong time management skills. You can prioritize your work, especially how and when to handle escalations. Can respond and relate well to people in all positions, internal and external. Can encourage collaboration and easily gain trust and support of others. Have strong leadership skills. You can set clear direction and aligns others around common objectives. Experience managing performance and measuring success. Can work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Can act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
What you will be doing:
Supervising, training, and developing a strong staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Directing the team's workflow and customer interactions. Providing leadership and managing the team: making decisions; solving problems; developing unit procedures; developing records/files; conducting meetings; representing department at internal and external meetings. Maintaining a deep knowledge of business objectives, practices, and processes of functional areas. Providing guidance and mentoring to staff. Conducting initial and ongoing training for new staff. Running team service hub escalation and touch-point calls. Managing employees and team performance through quality and productivity auditing. Monitoring the service level agreement targets/benchmarks and performance. against those benchmarks. Managing department work; including ticket load balancing. Participating in the employee hiring process. Maintaining a deep knowledge of business objectives, practices, and processes of assigned functional areas. Coordinate with and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.
