Your Role on Our Team: As a Sr Platform Engineer, you will serve as the go-to expert for Oracle Fusion Product Hub. By building partnerships with functional stakeholders supporting item setup and product data maintenance, you will be responsible for establishing and driving best practice usage of Oracle software to enable optimized product data management across Milwaukee Tool. You will collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to define and develop data quality metrics to drive proactive data quality and optimize data management processes. As a Sr Platform Engineer, you will influence the evolution of Oracle's platforms and best practices to align to Milwaukee's business requirements and drive improvement in Milwaukee Tool processes. You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: * Drive solutions across stakeholders primarily in Oracle Fusion Product Hub. Coordinate with other functional teams to drive appropriate transformations. * Lead the definition of functional strategy and vision and identify innovation opportunities * Establish data quality metrics and processes to improve data quality * Participate in and contribute to the solution design (encompassing process, data and system architectures) with solutions to support the evolution of the platform. * Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, that drive solutioning and design. * Translate business requirements to functional requirements, develop functional design in adherence with architecture standards and principles, and provide clarification of technical requirements as input for a dedicated technical development staff * Complete impact assessments that outline the impact of new functionality and enhancements * Work independently and as a member of the platform delivery team in the application development lifecycle, including the design, coordination and execution of testing of new or upgraded application functionality. * Ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders across the company-deliver information to executive leadership and work with Applications, Solution Delivery, Program Management, and Operations team members to define user requirements * Serve as Level 3 support and coordinate with lower levels of support to improve their knowledge and ability to handle support calls. The TOOLS you'll bring with you: * A bachelor's degree in computer science or business-related field, and/or an equivalent technical degree with four years of experience. * 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Product Data Hub * OTBI report and dashboard development including SQL * FBDI skills to assist in managing data imports * Experience with integration patterns and solutions related to product data, product lifecycle management, and product master data management. * Results oriented collaborative team player. Other TOOLS we prefer you to have: * Experience with PLM software including Oracle Product Lifecycle Management, Product Development Cloud, Product Information Management, and CAD. * Technical expertise, leadership, and networking in the Oracle platform community. * Takes accountability and possesses a sense of urgency to design, build and deliver solutions * Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills * Decisive in handling difficult business requirements. Translates requirements into practical solutions. * Ability to distill and communicate complex concepts and ideas into simple communications. * Manage multiple tasks at one time and quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks * Demonstrated ability to build multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and organize * Results oriented with hands on approach * Has a passion for their business area of expertise * Ability to travel to other Milwaukee Tool locations on occasion/as required.
