Petroleum, Oil & Lubricants (POL) Technician

Versar Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Petroleum Oil and Lubricants (POL) Technician to provide specialized ground services for aircraft. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and efficient fueling operations while maintaining compliance with all aviation regulations and safety protocols. What You Will Do

• Execute aircraft fueling operations using aviation gas (AVGAS) and NATO Grade F-24 jet fuel (F24)
• Direct ground traffic in aircraft operational areas
• Secure aircraft in proper parking positions using appropriate tie-down techniques
• Operate and maintain various aviation ground support equipment
• Perform quality control tests on aviation fuels and lubricants
• Maintain detailed records of fuel disbursement and inventory
• Conduct regular inspections of fueling equipment and storage facilities
• Respond to and report fuel spills according to environmental protocols
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures

What You Will Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in aviation or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in aircraft fueling operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of aviation fueling systems and procedures
• Experience with both AVGAS and F24 jet fuel handling
• Familiarity with aviation ground support equipment operation and maintenance
• Current certification in hazardous materials handling preferred

• Thorough understanding of aviation fueling safety protocols
• Knowledge of aircraft marshalling signals and ground movement procedures
• Ability to operate in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures
• Effective communication skills for coordination with flight crews
• Physical ability to handle fueling equipment and climb ladders
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
