Responsible for providing service to our internal customers through the placement and monitoring of orders and the management of the Supplier Registration database. Responsibilities also include responding to post-order customer service requests relating to the ordering process and system. Will work with managers to support each department's needs and maintain various reports, metrics and scorecards for transactional purchasing activities. Position requires schedule adherence and excellent prioritizing skill. This is a full-time role and will require working on-site. This Specialist must also have a strong customer service mindset and be a clear and effective communicator. Management of Supplier Registration Database and Supplier Onboarding process and risk segmentation. The role will be responsible for continuous development, design and implementation of the risk management process, in collaboration with a cross-functional team. This role will support the design and delivery of P2P training for all users and requisitioners.

Essential Duties
|
* Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all third-party suppliers and internal stakeholder relationships; * Manage supplier onboarding and registration, collaborating with relevant approvers and support suppliers with completion of registration; * Develop processes to improve efficiency of supplier onboarding, including internal communication and transparency for requestors; * Manage Supplier Onboarding Portal and risk management; * Recommend enhancements to Support Onboarding Portal to ensure improvements to process and processing time; * Liaise with implementation consultant to embed approved improvements/enhancements; * Develop / present ideas to reduce and/or consolidate costs, improve operational efficiency, add value and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement; * Analyze and resolve customer concerns using established procedures; * Analyze proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices; * Assist customers with buying decisions: researches product, cross-reference, pricing & availability; * Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service support, reliability etc. * Other duties as required.

Education & Experience
|
* Bachelor's Degree required * 4 (+) years of procurement experience preferably in biotech or medical field * Familiarity with Procure to Pay (P2P) systems * GMP and MRP system experience is a plus
