The Data Management, Assistant Vice President will sit within Apogems Information Technology Data Management team. This role will report into the Director of Data Management and interact with the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Report into Apogem's Director of Data Management and work closely with its Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams on weekly, monthly and quarterly requests.
  • Support the Data Management team's design and implementation of the firm's data governance platforms
  • Support Apogem's third-party devops, data and development partners
  • Assist with data visualization projects
  • Assist with data cleansing and cataloging projects
  • Work with NYL and NYL Investment Management partners on data and reporting projects
  • Assist with third party administrator onboarding

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience with developing ETL pipelines utilizing AWS S3, Lambda, and Step Functions
  • Proficiency in designing data models for use in Tableau or equivalent applications
  • Proficiency in designing visualizations in Tableau or equivalent applications
  • Experience using RedShift, Snowflake, Databricks or equivalent cloud data warehouse or data lake platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices
  • Experience working with private credit and private equity data
  • Experiencing working with a small team
  • Ability to take initiative while performing required job functions
  • Transparent and clear communicator

Pay Transparency

Salary range:$140,000 - $160,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
