Basic Function

The La Porte Complex Maintenance and Reliability group is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented Infrastructure Coordinator. In this role, you will interact with theplant's operations, technical, capital, turnaround, reliability and maintenance personnel on preparation, planning, execution, and closure activities for the site's utility infrastructure program.

The Infrastructure Coordinator will help develop and facilitate the short/long term utility infrastructure programs that includes civil, electrical, environmental, instrument air, steam, tank program, waste water and other utility related systems

The Infrastructure Coordinator also has the responsibility to ensure that execution team comply with all governance, procedures, and quality control that are applicable to the jobs being completed. This role will focus on improving LPO site's infrastructure by applying proper assessment, prioritization and mitigation of infrastructure needs across the site

Roles & Responsibilities

* Provide leadership to enable the organization to achieve GoalZERO HSE performance

* Contributes to development of the site's utility infrastructure program which is a proactive program to sustain and enhance our plant infrastructure by prioritizing and planning proper resources into a multi-year plan

* As part of the utility infrastructure program, this role will help plan and execute internal/external inspections, repairs, alterations, and reconstruction of above-ground storage tanks

* Liaison between key department managers on facilitating the utility infrastructure program

* Regularly communicates status, key performance indicators, and both leading and lagging performance metrics for utility infrastructure programs to plant and corporate leadership

* Help with budgeting allocations and tracking costs for the utility infrastructure program in different cost categories (e.g. routine, capital, turnaround, etc.)

* Work with planning and scheduling resources to define technical resource needs and assign, allocate, or procure them as necessary to efficiently and safely meet site's utility infrastructure goals

* Establish and support LyondellBasell process standardization and improvement through participation in technical networks and cross-functional projects as requested

* Establish and communicate clear organizational goals with customer input that are in line with site and company goals.

* Produces and implements updates to the site long range plans (LRP) in full support of site and corporate objectives.

* Works collaboratively with all members of the site leadership team to set challenging but achievable technical goals..

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as good judgement and discretion are required.

* Collaborates with the Reliability and Inspection teams to establish the quality control plan for the execution phase and ensure execution of the plan

* Must be able to oversee several groups of service providers in the field to ensure proper work methods and compliance

* Reinforces the safety principles of the area and the site and ensures service providers follow the standard work practices and procedures

* Manages and reports on the execution status, progress, schedule, budget, and quantity

* Resolves execution issues as they arise

* Approval of the change management for field activities

Min. Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

* One of the below is required:

o High School diploma (or equivalent) with a typically a minimum of ten years of relevant experience managing construction in an operating petrochemical, refining facility, or similar industry

o Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management with typically a minimum of five years of relevant experience managing construction in an operating petrochemical or refining facility, or similar industry

* Prior experience and knowledge of industrial turnaround estimating, preferred

* Experience working with SAP, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project estimating, highly preferred

* Experience in a PSM and ISO environment, preferred

Languages: English, additional language preferred

Areas of Expertise, Requirements

* Knowledge of industry codes and standards

* Knowledge of the basic negotiating and contracting principals

* Must be able to read and interpret technical documents, such as:

o PI&D's, PFD's

o Blueprints and Schematics

o One-lines and Loop sheets

* Knowledge and understanding of planning and scheduling principles

* Prior utility infrastructure experience strongly preferred

Other Skills

* Ability to work independently with limited supervision

* Thorough understanding of all phases of Outage Execution

* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
