MDA (Missile Defense Agency) Quick Reaction Team (QRT) Senior Missile Defense Technical Analyst

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an MDA ( Missile Defense Agency) Quick Reaction Team (QRT) Senior Missile Defense Technical Analyst to support MDA. This position is based in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Perform technical editing of documents and briefings to ensure clarity and technical accuracy.
• Assist with developing analysis reports and products including defended area maps, probability of engagement success, raid capacity plots, and depth of fire plots.
• Review technical products to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across the Agency.
• Develop graphics using the Satellite Tool Kit (STK) graphics tool.
• Organize and document task databases and retrievable study results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• MA/MS degree with 12+ years' experience on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program or project or 20+ years of similar experience with a BA/BS degree.
• Strong technical writing and editing experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Satellite Tool Kit graphics.
• Previous MDA experience.
• Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
• Knowledge of ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missile defense fundamentals.
• Experience and confidence in interacting with senior technical leadership.
