Finance Coordinator, Streaming Service (Contractor)

Contract length: 12 months

Location: Culver City, CA

Pay range: $55-$61.38/HR

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Coordinator to join the team on a contract basis. This role will support the financial operations of the global Publicity, Studio Communications, Talent Relations, Awards, and Events teams. The Finance Coordinator will work closely with internal and external teams to ensure the accurate management of budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the financial management of budgeting, reporting, forecasting, purchase orders, and daily invoices across global Publicity, Studio Communications, Talent Relations, Awards, and Events.
  • Track and process invoices, manage purchase order creation, and analyze actuals versus budget cost reports to ensure accuracy, resolving any discrepancies swiftly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Travel, Business Affairs, and Legal, to create and vet budgets, while strategically resolving issues to ensure efficient financial processes.
  • Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in partnership with Finance and Procurement teams.
  • Support the setup of vendors and external partners in collaboration with the Procurement team.
  • Manage various administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.


Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in billing, purchase order development, and execution within the entertainment industry.
  • Proven ability to track and process invoices, create purchase orders, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong skills in determining resources, tracking costs, and establishing partnerships with various teams within the organization.
  • Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
