Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Procurement Indirects Team. This role is integral to the company's procurement function, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, and managing IT-related goods and services for the business. The IT Sourcing Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure the effective acquisition of IT products, services, and solutions while driving cost efficiency, compliance, and value.

Job Responsibilities


  • Sourcing & Procurement: Manage the end-to-end sourcing process for IT-related categories, including hardware, software, services, and cloud solutions. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, issue RFPs, and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key IT vendors and service providers. Collaborate to identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and improved service delivery.
  • Cost Optimization: Drive cost-effective procurement solutions for IT services and products while ensuring high-quality service and compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Conduct market research and leverage industry insights to ensure best-in-class sourcing practices.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with legal and business teams to develop, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation. Monitor contract performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Units) to understand requirements, provide insights on market trends, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis: Continuously monitor the IT procurement landscape, emerging technologies, and vendor trends to identify opportunities for innovation, improvement, and cost savings. Regularly report on sourcing performance and spend analysis to senior management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all IT sourcing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Proactively manage and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and contract terms.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement processes and tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration within the Indirect Procurement team.

Preferred Skills


  • Strong knowledge of IT procurement, including hardware, software, and IT services.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of IT market trends, vendors, and technology products.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into sourcing strategies.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools, sourcing strategies, and contract management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within a corporate or large enterprise environment. Experience with indirect procurement categories is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field.
