Your next career move:

We are currently seeking a Microbiology Associate III who will possess a sound knowledge base of microbiological testing skills. They will perform as an expert bench analyst with excellent technical and GMP/ GLP/ GDP skills. Problem solving skills and a capabity of navigating testing issues in proper GMP manner with minimal oversight is needed. Good communication both internally and externally with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to junior analysts & work effectively cross functionally with other departments. In this role, analysts will be developing project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:



  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Embodies Aji Bio-Pharma's cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.
  • Perform QC microbiological testing such as bioburden, endotoxin, Growth Promotion, TOC, conductivity, and microbial identification according standard operating procedures.
  • Train new analysts per procedures on all QC microbiological testing.
  • Perform Sequencing assays such as PCR microbial ID testing, microbial inhibition testing, and Gel electrophoresis.
  • Responsible for performing drug product method verification testing for bioburden and endotoxin.
  • Authoring technical documents such as method verification protocols/ reports, SOPs, Quality Event investigations, audit responses and trend reports.
  • Participate in customer facing tasks such as email, meetings and report discussions as a representative for the Microbiology department.
  • Review of data as a subject matter expert.
  • Maintain laboratory schedule and project management activities for team with assistance from senior level team members.
  • Suggests possible preventative and corrective measures to improve department and works with senior level team members to execute.



Requirements:



  • BS degree in Life Science discipline or equivalent required
  • Minimum of Four (4) years of experience relevant experience in cGMP/laboratory environment or equivalent.
  • Experience with aseptic techniques, troubleshooting, and data entry.
  • Ability to perform testing in a highly accurate and reproducible manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions in a laboratory environment.



The anticipated hourly range for candidates who will work in California is $25.71 - $33.74.
