Responsibilities

Provides the leadership, strategy, design, and execution of our human resources philosophy, programs and initiatives. Designs and develops an end-to-end human resources function to deliver talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee support services. Partners with leadership across the organization to provide human resources programs aligned with the organization's operational objectives, mission, and values. Builds and develops the teams and technology resources to facilitate regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, transaction processing, and analysis of workforce metrics. Explores trends in human resources to enhance the employee experience, meet evolving organizational needs and create innovative programs.

  • Coordinate daily operations to ensure continuity of services, processes, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
  • Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
  • Develop a total compensation strategy, performance management system, and training and development initiatives that (1) are aligned with the organization's goals and philosophy, (2) that will attract and retain qualified staff and (3) that enhance organizational performance.
  • Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the human resources of the organization including programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee relations, complaints, external education and career development.
  • Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include:
    • Talent management through succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions
    • Training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities.

This is a hybrid opportunity. The ideal candidate must be commutable to either our St. Paul, MN, Rancho Mirage, CA, or Newberg, OR locations.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
  • Minimum of ten years progressive HR leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or MBA Degree
  • SHRM Professional Certification
