Vector Solutions is hiring a Talent Onboarding Specialist to join our team. This individual will serve as the single point of contact for new hires, ensuring all necessary onboarding materials are completed timely and accurately. In addition, the role with partner with hiring leaders in advance of their new team member's start date. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail along with effective communication skills and passion to work with new team members, ensuring they feel confident of what to expect prior to joining our organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Own all administrative aspects of the new hire onboarding process starting immediately after an offer of employment is accepted.
  • Facilitate pre-boarding materials, via Paylocity, reviewing documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Administer background checks as required.
  • Serve as point of contact for new hires prior to their first day at Vector, ensuring prompt communication to requests.
  • Create employee personnel files and verify all required content is present.
  • Enter new hire data into the HR system, ensuring quality and accuracy of all entries.
  • Initiate IT requests to ensure system and equipment setup prior to new hire's first day.
  • Assign, track, and report on new hire LMS training requirements.
  • Run monthly reports to ensure compliance requirements for new hires, terminations, and training.
  • Coordinate communication of new hires to company via our Intranet.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to create training schedules.
  • Administer security clearance and maintain log for tracking.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for new hire orientation program in Tampa.
  • Support the facilitation of New Hire Orientation.
  • Assist TA team with duties as needed including review of resumes, interview coordination and souring.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to the HR team.
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in talent acquisition role or similar field
  • Working knowledge of Paylocity ATS and onboarding modules preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel.
  • Understanding of process for completing for I9, E-Verify and compliance regulations surrounding both, highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude with ability and desire to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion and commitment to ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule, with two days in office.
